Find your level
Start with Easy if you are learning. Difficulty follows the logical techniques used by our grader, rather than the number of empty cells.

Make room for pencil marks
The worksheet uses a large, black-and-white grid, clear box boundaries, and space for notes in each cell. Select A4 or US Letter, portrait orientation, and 100% scale.

Keep the answer for later
Include the separate answer page if you need it. Your puzzle ID appears on both sheets, so you can always match a worksheet to its answer key.
Before you print
Learn the Sudoku rulesCan I save the puzzle as a PDF?
Yes, if your browser or operating system offers Save as PDF in its print dialog. Use Print puzzle, then choose that destination instead of a printer. This page prepares a printable worksheet; it does not download a separate PDF file.
Does each printable Sudoku have one answer?
Every puzzle in our library is checked for a unique solution. The preview, worksheet, and answer key all use the same puzzle and stable ID. Getting another puzzle updates all three together.
How do I avoid printing the answer on the back of the puzzle?
The answer key starts on a separate page. Select single-sided printing in your printer settings if you want two separate sheets, or leave Include answer key unchecked to print only the puzzle.
Why does my printer add a date or website address?
Some browsers add their own headers and footers. Turn off Headers and footers in the print dialog for a clean worksheet. Confirm the matching paper size and use portrait orientation.
